surprise!!

absolutely stunning!!

I have never been so surprised in my life!

about  two months ago I posted this picture on Facebook, saying that I would love it for my birthday... never thinking it would actually happen... just a fantasy!

hot pink kitchen-aid mixer hand-bedazzled with thousands of Swarovski crystals... could anything be MORE perfect for the Flour Girl kitchen!?!?! 

tonight, my husband and I were on our way to my in-laws for dinner and we stopped by our kitchen to check on a few things... little did I know that a gaggle of friends and family were lying in wait to give me my belated birthday surprise... 

I am absolutely speechless... the generosity and love and support of my fans, friends and family is overwhelming!!! 

it's not the "thing" that means so much, but the intention behind it... knowing that people really believe in what I'm doing and that what I do makes people happy makes all the difference.

Doralice Handal is single-handedly the BEST... no one has ever pulled one over on me like this!

we are officially up and running in Cloverdale and LOVING it! 

to accommodate the travel time, 

the new delivery days for Shelton's Market are 

TUESDAY and FRIDAY

please be aware that supplies will be running short with only two delivery days, but if there is something you just gotta have...

moving day

even though we've been boxing, cleaning and 

hauling for the past week... 

 today is our official MOVING DAY!

and in between schlepping loads up to Cloverdale, 

I have managed to squeeze in a round of baking, sooo....

the goodies are back at Shelton's Market today! 

all I ask is that you please be patient with me 

in the coming weeks... 

while I get settled into our new house 

AND our new kitchen/retail space

I will be figuring out logistics of deliveries and whatnot!

also mark your calendars for January 23rd...

the Cheese Shop will re-open with fresh batches of whoopee pies, ice cream sandwiches, scones... and who knows what else!

look out 2013... you WILL be mine!!
